Muy buenas noticias, Peter Gabriel ha ampliado las fechas de su gira “New Blood”, incluyendo a Madrid y Barcelona, el 22 y 23 de Septiembre respectivamente.

Esta gira se compone únicamente de Peter Gabriel acompañado de una orquesta, como su nombre indica (New Blood,  – Orchestra, No Drums, No Guitars), y la compañia de su hija Melanie Gabriel, y la vocalista Noruega Ana Brun.

Interpretará temas de su último disco de versiones “Scratch my Back”, asi como temas clásicos de su larga trayectoria.

Se trata de un disco compuesto únicamente por versiones de diferentes grupos y artistas, como Radiohead, Bowie o Regina Spektor, interpretadas en un tono intimista y relajado.

Peter presentará estos temas en directo en su gira “New Blood”, en un reducido número de conciertos, ejecutados únicamente con voz y orquesta.

The Musical Box actuará en San Sebastián el próximo Martes 1 de Diciembre, en el Teatro Victoria Eugenia de San Sebastián.

Esta banda Canadiense recrea a la perfección las giras clásicas de Genesis, con unos instrumentistas virtuosos que clavan los temas, y material original como trajes, diapositivas, etc. Tuve la oportunidad de verlos en Madrid en la gira “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway” y os lo recomiendo a todos, impresionante,por momentos crees estar viendo a la formación original.

Esta vez rememoran la gira del “A Trick of the Tail” de 1976, la primera de Génesis sin Peter Gabriel.
